See the World with The University of New Orleans

MISSION: The mission of the Division of International Education is to provide international educational opportunities to the students, faculty, and staff of the University of New Orleans as well as to the public. The reasons for the continued success of our programs are affordability, exciting and interesting locations, high academic standards, excellent choice of courses, first rate faculty, student diversity, and a professional, friendly staff on-site at all locations.

LANGUAGES: The Division is also home to the Intensive English Language Program, where approximately 1,000 students from 75 countries have studied English in preparation for attending universities in the U.S. Finally, the Critical Languages Program offers UNO students a multitude of world languages utilizing self-instructional study methods and native-speaking tutors.

GLOBALIZATION: These are remarkable times for students in the United States as well as from abroad. Knowledge and information are crossing international boundaries as never before in the history of humankind. Opportunities abound for study, travel, and work abroad. The acquisition of languages is becoming the mark of the true “global citizen.” An investment of your time in selecting and participating in one of our excellent programs will pay you dividends for a lifetime. Join us and become a global citizen.
