We would like to offer the UNO-Innsbruck students the opportunity to purchase a mobile phone for your summer in Innsbruck. We have made arrangements with the local T-Mobile™ office in Innsbruck to provide cellular phones to the UNO-Innsbruck participants at a greatly reduced cost. The phones are being offered because the Rössl in der Au has cancelled their contract with the local phone company. This is due to the low use of room phones since the majority of the Austrian students residing in the dorm throughout the year already utilize a cellular phone.

NOTE: The Rössl front desk will receive incoming calls but will not be able to transfer calls to student rooms. As always, in the event of an emergency, the Rössl (staffed 24/7) will transfer emergency calls to a University of New Orleans representative.

Cell Phone Information

The phone will cost only €40 (about $60, cash only), which includes €1 of talk time.
The phone style has yet to be determined.
The phone will include the batteries and charger.

Phone cards are available for purchase in the amounts of €10, €20 & €40
at tobacco/ newsstands throughout Europe.
