Transportation to San Ramón, Costa Rica

We do not handle flight arrangements; you must book your ticket on your own. However, please consult with us regarding time of arrival, etc so we can help you decide on the best venue.

You can make plans online through agencies such as www.orbitz.com www.travelocity.com www.statravel.com and many more. Please be sure to go with a trusted site and also make sure to book the correct dates. You can also use a travel agent or frequent flyer miles. Once you have your itinerary, send it to us and we will look at everyone's flight plans so we can coordinate travel partners. 

Another option is to book the same flight as one of our faculty members if you feel more comfortable about traveling with someone else. We can give you information regarding this

 

ARRIVING ON YOUR OWN: Once you book your flight to San Jose, please send us a copy of your itinerary. We will work with you regarding airport pick up, either setting up someone to pick you up or giving you taxi information. San Ramon is about a one (1) hour taxi ride from the airport in San Jose. You can find official airport taxis as you leave the airport. They will have an orange band around the side. The cost will be about $35.00 one way. Negotiate the rate before you leave and have the taxi take you to the coordinator's office in San Ramon. Please give us a call prior to your departure and let us know what you intend to do in the way of arrival date and time so we can coordinate all plans.
