See the World with The University of New Orleans
With 195 acres on the UNO Lakefront (main) campus, this is a very green space with lots of open areas between buildings. So although it is hard to capture this feeling on camera, we have tried to do that, and to show you some of our key buildings and favorite spots. For a campus map, click here.

The University Center (UC) has several options for food,a coffee shop that serves Starbuck's coffee, the campus bookstore, and a convenience store.
Enjoy your meal and the sunshine when you sit outside of the UC

This is the UNO bookstore where you can purchase textbooks and other school supplies. You may also purchase souveniers to remember your time at UNO.

The Cove, where you can enjoy good food and relax with friends.
The UNO Library houses not only the library and great places to study, but also the Privateer Enrollment Center (PEC), computer labs, the Women's Center, and the Honors Program.

The Quad is a place where students come together and mingle. Many festivities are held here for students to enjoy and to participate.

You will never get lost with all the maps and signs around campus.

Privateer Place, located on the edge of campus near Lake Pontchartrain, is a second on-campus housing option for students. It offers apartment style living, a clubhouse, pool, and a fantastic view of Lake Pontrchartrain.

The Recreation & Fitness Center has exercise machines, free weights, a running track, basketball & raquet ball courts, as well as free group exercise classes.

This is more of the green space in the Library Quad. During nice weather, the Quad is a popular place for students to meet up and hang out.


UNO's Pond is another nice comfortable spot near the pond to just
sit back, relax, and drink in the scenery.

Do you have interest in the arts? Come and check out the
Performing Arts Center located beside the Library.

This is the Ampitheatre where we have live music and shows.
The Cove is a great place to grab a bite to eat on campus. There is a Popeye's chicken, other food venues, and the Sandbar. The Sandbar is UNO's premiere venue for various events, but is most famous for "Jazz at the Sandbar" where UNO jazz music students play live jazz with visiting professors from around the world. These performances are provided at no cost to students.
