See the World with The University of New Orleans

"A Rememberance of Times Past" by 2008 Photo Finalist Ashley Norris

The University of New Orleans, along with the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, recognizes November 16th-20th, 2009 as International Education Week.

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Since its inception in 2000, International Education Week (IEW) has grown in size and scope to become a global event with students, educators, and community leaders participating in a wide range of activities to celebrate the benefits of internationalism in our classrooms and educational systems.

Throughout International Education Week, UNO will highlight various aspects of internationalism at the University, as well as regional, national and U.S.-sponsored programs for international education and cultural exchange.

Be a global citizen: participate in these events!
