This program consists of a 6-week professional practice internship in Paris, working 35 hours a week, Monday-Friday. This program requires proficiency in French.

Program dates: May 28 to July 14, 2007.

Application deadline: February 28, 2007

Deadline for Phase 2 materials (resume, essay, housing forms and digital photos): March 15, 2007

Deadline for Phase 3 materials (all remaining materials): April 15, 2007

Students are placed in responsible, un-paid internship positions according to their professional interests at outstanding companies in Europe, and earn 6 credits of internship hours towards their degree.

Included in the cost of the program are:

• UNO tuition

• Housing and program support services on-site are also included in the cost of the program.

• 7-week bus and/or rail pass in Paris

 

 

Housing Information:

For linguistic and cultural reasons, students will benefit from home stays in Paris in order to continue to improve language skills outside the office environment. These hosts live all around the city and would normally be less than a 40-minute commute from the site of the internship. Students are provided with their own key to the home and may come and go as they please, respecting the family's schedules. Students are provided with breakfast and are expected to eat lunch near the office. There is normally no Internet access from the home and EUSA will provide advice on local Internet cafes.
