The University Center (UC) has several options for food,a coffee shop that serves Starbuck's coffee, the campus bookstore, and the Privateer Mart (grocery mart).	In the cafeteria, there are several hot daily specials, a salad bar, pizzas, Subway sub sandwiches and po-boys (a New Orleans signature sandwich)

Inside the UC, Starbuck's coffee and fresh pastries are available in the Flambeau Room.
	The new dorm, Pontchartrain Hall, will be open fall 2007.

Privateer Place Apartments

Privateer Place, located near Lake Pontchartrain, is another housing option for students. It offers apartment style living, a clubhouse, and pool.

The Liberal Arts Building also has a courtyard and vending machine area located in the center of the building where many students can be found studying and realxing in between their classes.

Kirschman Hall is the newest building on campus and features several lecture halls and classrooms, as well as the administrative offices for the College of Buisiness Administration.

Construction and renovation of parking area next to Kirschman Hall

Some views of the UNO campus, looking toward the shore of Lake Ponchartrain. On the "Lakefront" there is a small beach area and many areas to picnic and enjoy the scenery.

Privateer Place, which sits near the shore of Lake Ponchartrain, is protected by a levee from storm waves and flood water. You can see the levee here in the picture on the left. On one side of the levee is the UNO campus and Privateer Place, and on the other side is the shore of Lake Ponchartrain (the "Lakefront").
